Have you not noticed that none of the specimens acctually infect you and like convert you to one of them? So where do they all come from?

Horzines bio-industry was hit with the recent UK credit crunch and needed to find a new way of creating specimens to experiment on with not much funding left from an unkown invester, Horzine was going down unless it made a drastic descision. With the last of the funding one of the executives of the company sacrificed himself in the name of the company. Some say his family was held hostage and it was not voluntary at all. His sacrifice made him the infector.

The infector was the companies attempt to stop the high costs of producing fresh specimens through complex treatment programs. The infector stands at the same height as the patriach. He has torn remnants of hospital gowns draped partially over him what skin is leftis a dark gray with a blue tinge this is because he was kept in an cold room to keep him dormant while they created him fully. His skin loosely hangs of him and is stuck to him in patches, this cold/ dead skin acts as an make shift armor . He has Bright blue eyes with Red Blood shot veins at each side. His back is all bare muscle with titanium rods stabbed into it some sharpened some blunt and hollow. His heart is incased entirely in bone is exposed but the surrounding front of the torso is encased in metal some of which is starting to corrode and would easily be accelerated with a few bullets. On his head he wears an old Roman centurian helmet with only is mouth and eyes showing. His mouth is an gaping whole filled with over 100 razor sharp teeth. These teeth are very thin and can bite through steel. The infectors lower jaw is dislocated because of the length of the teeth they are about 15cm in length. This jaw sways around with every movement of the infector. The exposed muscle on his back has been stitched to even more synthetic muscle, which looks odd compared to the original. Attached to this muscle is a 1.5 metre tail/tenticle. On this tail is suction cups like an octopus (Yes again) in the dimple of the suction cup is a small quantity of an virus which is more than enough to someone from man to monster. It can either Whip somebody with this tail to turn them slowly into an weaker specimen. (clot, Gorfast, Bloat, shriek) Or it can coil around somebody like a python for a shorter time Creating either (an husk, Or an weaker version of a flesh pound an flesh smash! smaller has two small maces on each arm.) if the infector chooses the second option it gains a small health bonus because it drains the life force out of the victim on the other hand it is open to attack and is very vunerable. The legs of the infector are slightly more Cyborg because of weight issues with the new muscle and tail. There are small pistons connecting the lower thigh to the upper calf. This allows the infector to jump long distances and gives it the ability to jump and come crashing to the groun with deadly force. The leg on the same side as the whip has chunks taken out of it where the infector has been careless. On one arm it has a whip connected to the hand the whip has 100 razor sharp spikes along each side and it resembles a metallic spine. This can drag victims closer to it so it can be grabbed by the tail. This looks like its made out of some sort of black silicone or it is covered in an oil. The other arm is a simple muscular arm for any use whether it be throwing things or tearing an head off with one hand. These creatures tail has an remarkably strong cheese smell because of all of the puss that seeps out of the suction cups the smell is enough to make you vomit. This specimen has very many ways to end a life and to transform it. This would be a boss character that could be on some levels instead of the patriach. Or it sould be on along with patriach but only in once every game at a random wave. The creature has an 5 second heart areation procedure where the bone that surrounds the heart opens up revealing an object that looks like a pulsing shiney lump of coal. Carbon monoxide gas is released in vast quantities in this procedure so it will harm anything standing near and obscure vision which makes it more likely that you'll fall into it's embrace. Reports have formed that this gas has had an hypnosis affect on victims, though these are unconfirmed. Also the chairman tries to break through the infector and he goes on rages similar to the flesh pound and just tries to kill speciemens for a good 10 15 seconds. This is the chairman trying to get his revenge for his families death.


This project benefitted the corporation like nothing had ever before but this lead to a massive raise in bad PR for Horzine as although they no longer needed to create their own specimens they had to kindnap twice the number of homless people for the infector to convert. Ultimatily the executive lost his family anyway as they were sacrificed to the infector. As a result of the new Specimen program Horzine's profits sky rockited but as the population of specimesn grew Horzine started to lose it's control on the situation. Some official Horzine representatives when interragated have said that the last thing you'll smell before your transformed is the sweet smell of pear drops. The Infector was not desgned to create this smell so tis could be a step in evolution and if this continues the Infecter may become a greater threat than first thought.

My specimen is called Wraith. They are women - like specimens, with bright white eyes. Their bodies are emaciated and their skin is pale, due to lack of sunlight. They have been genetically engineered so that their vocal chords can reach deafening pitches, rendering the prey deaf.

Their mouths are full of 32 filed down teeth, all looking like canines. The ligamets in their jaws are capable of streching so that the mouth can open wider, hence allowing more sound out. Their entire body is encased in steel, looking like a robe, so that when the approach their prey, all the can hear is a clinking sound.

Their fingers have been swapped for razor sharp metal spikes. Their hair and metal has been sprayed white to give the a more ghostly look. Their feet have been fitted with anti gravity techology so the can float for several metres at a time.

They are more of a support for other specimens, to render intruders incapable of sensing approaching swarms.
